This Caterpillar 793C Transmission (Part Number 9U-9822) was professionally rebuilt with a detailed process ensuring strict adherence to Caterpillar specifications.
Key Works and Procedures:
- Disassembly and Inspection: All components were completely disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, and measured for usability. This inspection followed specifications SENR1448-11.
- Reassembly: Reassembly was carried out following assembly procedures RENR2534-14.
- Planetary Gears: Planetary gear sets were inspected and confirmed to have no missing hard facing, no signs of chattering or cracking, and no signs of early wear.
- New Components: All thrust washers and bearings were replaced. New parts, including a Bearing Kit (466-2344) and a Gasket Kit (223-1101), were installed.
- Hydraulic Control Valves: The valves were completely stripped, thoroughly inspected, resealed, and assembled to Caterpillar specifications.
- Final Testing & Upgrades: A Successful Dyno test was completed and the Coils & ID Tags were also replaced upon project completion.
